Become a Part of the Alumni Career Network….
Do you remember when looking out toward the world beyond graduation seemed a bit intimidating? Do you remember when you were hoping for any break – a friendly face to teach you about a career field or point you in the right direction?
Perhaps you remember a Muhlenberg alumnus/a who did
that for you – the
doctor you shadowed, the VP who offered you an internship, or the speaker
you heard during Alumni in the Classroom Week or on a career panel?
Volunteer opportunities include hosting a student for a shadow visit, offering to speak on campus through one of our special events such as Alumni in the Classroom Week or Career Campaign, assisting seniors in the job search or underclass students seeking internships, and helping connect Muhlenberg with the recruiter at your organization.
Offer to do as much or as little as you can. Your mere presence in the network database informs students of the possibilities with their degrees.
Go to www.muhlenberg.edu/ocdp, and click on Alumni for more details on volunteer opportunities, and for a printable form.
Join the more than 1,600 Muhlenberg alumni who are already giving back by helping students.
…You’ll be glad you did
