Visit the Baltic States and Finland
including a special Latvian Song Festival celebrating the 800th Anniversary of Riga, Latvia's capital
July 23-Aug. 3, 2001 $2,264 per person

Under the guidance of Muhlenberg professor emeritus Dr. Arvids Ziedonis and his wife, Zigrida, you will visit the Baltic states of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia to observe the blend of ancient and modern culture as well as the progress made by these democratic republics. Join the festivities of the capital city of Riga in celebrating its 800th anniversary with a special mega-concert, "Riga 800," and the Song Festival Procession of choirs. The trip will conclude with an overnight ferry across the Gulf of Finland and a guided tour of beautiful Helsinki, Finland's capital.

Alumni gather for East Coast events

More than 800 alumni along the East Coast gathered at various alumni events this fall to hear about all of the exciting things happening at Muhlenberg and to have fun reconnecting with friends of the College. These photos are from events held in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Avalon, N.J. Check your mail and the alumni web page to see where you can join us for our spring events.
