'00Navin S. Arora is a second-year medical student and has accepted a commission as
a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army.
Casha Caponegro lives in Edison, N.J., where she works as a reporter for The Cranbury Press, a small local newspaper in central New Jersey. "I write 8-10 articles a week, which can be read on-line at cranburypress.com," she says. Recently, Casha has published stories in The Cranbury Press and the South Brunswick Post in memory of Cheryl Godfrey '01. Casha also reports that she and long-time boyfriend Ken Eliason, who she met when they were both 'Berg freshmen in Walz Hall, toured Europe last year, visiting six countries in one month. They both plan to attend graduate school next fall. Darryl Cole writes: "I am happy to inform the Muhlenberg community about my recent engagement to Connie Wu. She is the sister of fellow Muhlenberg alumnus Michael Wu. The wedding is planned for June 7, 2003 in Warren, N.J." Erin Devaney recently moved to Bayonne, N.J., and is enjoying teaching a fourth grade inclusion class at Westminster Academy in Elizabeth, N.J. Joseph A. Gmitter married Michele Burrows on June 2, 2001. Joseph works for Cadence Design Systems in Allentown, Pa., as a software engineer. The couple lives in Bethlehem, Pa. Deirdre Macrino is an associate producer with E! Networks in
Los Angeles, where she is involved with licensing footage, writing, and conducting interviews for the E! True Hollywood Story. Darren Melchiorre, who lives in New York and is working as an executive development assistant with The Public Theater/New York Shakespeare Festival, sends the following news: "I currently finished working with Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline
on THE SEAGULL for Shakespeare in the Park." Jen Mendelsohn sends the following news: "After returning from an awesome summer semester abroad at UTS in Sydney, Australia and making it as a finalist in the Australian karaoke finals, I am back in Delaware at Widener Law in my second year." James M. Moscola, who was enrolled in the Muhlenberg College/Washington University dual degree engineering program, received a B.S. in Computer Engineering at Washington University in May 2001. He is currently attending the Washington University Graduate School of Engineering on a full scholarship, studying for a M.S. in computer science, and working as a graduate research assistant. Second-year law student Rocco Sconzo is currently participating in a joint JD/MBA program with Tauro Law Center and Long Island University-C.W.Post campus. He lives in Lodi, N.J. Ryan T. Smith is a second-year medical student at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Sam Stein writes in to say that he recently moved to Brookyln, N.Y., where he is working in commercial real estate. Tara M. Velez reports that she completed the requirements for the master's in computer applications for the history of art at the College of Birkbeck, University of London, on September 30, 2001.
'01Vincent John Gabriele is working in New York City for PriceWaterhouseCoopers as an accountant. Carin A. Geisz is currently enrolled in the Rutgers University Graduate School of Library & Information Science. Michael Goldsmith is working for Wiss & Company, Certified Public Accountants, in Red Bank, N.J. He is currently working both in auditing services and tax services, including tax return preparation and tax projections for both individuals and corporations. He lives in West Long Branch, N.J. Carli Littenberg reports that she is currently enrolled in a doctorate of psychology program for dual certification in school and clinical child psychology at Pace University in Manhattan. She is living in Hoboken, N.J. with Patrick Shelley '99 and Andrew Nynka '99. Andrew Morris reports that he is employed as an assistant superintendent with Tully Construction and acting as a disaster relief worker at the World Trade Center site in New York City. Tully is one of the four construction firms aiding in the recovery process. Nicole Rosato and James Rhodes were married in Egner Chapel on August 4, 2001 by the Rev. Peter Bredlau. Also part of the wedding were Alison Curd, Tom Simon, Adam Wheat, Dennis Snyder, and Dan Ochoa. The couple lives in Bethlehem, Pa. Fawn Schoenberg is currently finishing a master's in music/music education at Columbia University in New York.
Jodi Siegel is the northeast field organizer for AIPAC in Washington, D.C., where she lives with Natalie Rosenthal. Jodi writes: "I travel to college campuses in the Northeast (Maryland - Maine) speaking about how to become a pro-Israel political activist on campus." Sara Stern is currently living in Philadelphia and working for the Pennsylvania State Chapter, Southeast Pennsylvania Division of the March of Dimes as a community director. Bill Wise is working as an underwriter for ACE USA Insurance in New York City.
