Michele Squires Sherman and her husband Adam are proud to announce the birth of their third child, Mackenzie Brooke, born Sept. 26, 2002. Mackenzie has two big brothers: Matthew, age 7, and Corey, age 5 1/2.



Miryam (Strassberg) Roddy and her husband Kevin welcomed their first child, a daughter, on Oct. 4, 2002. Jaymie Taylor Roddy weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 19 1/2 inches. The family lives in Philadelphia. Miryam is still a volunteer ’Berg alumni admissions ambassador.



Kraig and Janelle (Hoch) Hess are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Mackenzie Elise, born Jan. 30, 2002. Big brother Connor, age four, is very happy to have a little sister to play with. Janelle is still teaching Spanish at Emmaus High School, in Emmaus, Pa. and resides in New Tripoli, Pa.



Lisa (Lombardi) Brown and her husband Dave welcomed their son, Ryan David, on June 4, 2002. Ryan joins big brother Jack, who is 3 1/2. The family enjoys living in Oakland, Calif., where Lisa is now a stay-at-home mom after being in sales for pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Michael Lefkowitz and his wife Paula announce with joy the birth of their first child, Robert Ian. Michael is a commercial real estate attorney with the law firm of Holland & Knight and is a resident in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. The Lefkowitz family lives in Rockville, Md.



Kris (Bronars) Cafaro and her husband Phil are happy to announce the birth of their first child, Henry Jay, born on Jan. 18, 2002. Kris has decided to be a stay-at-home mom, though she continues to do a little work from home for Audubon Colorado. Phil is a professor of philosophy at Colorado State University. The family lives in Fort Collins, Colo. Meredith (Conrey) Eater and her husband Greg are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter, Morgan Noelle Eater. She was born on Oct. 22, 2002, at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. Morgan weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces, measured 18 inches and sports a full head of hair. The family makes its home in Scarborough, Maine. Meredith works as a staff associate doing fundraising for the United Way of Greater Portland. Alysia “Lisa” (Argeson) Finnegan and her husband Michael are pleased to announce the birth of their son Brendan, who was born on Aug. 28, 2002. He joins his sister Gillian Grace, age 2. The family resides in Eatontown, N.J. Lisa is a senior patent attorney at Merck & Co. in Rahway, N.J. Jeremy Kinstlinger and his wife Melissa happily announce the birth of their son Gabriel Owen Kinstlinger. He was born on Aug. 14, 2002, in Baltimore, Md. Gabriel weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21 inches long. The family makes its home in Reisterstown, Md. n Randee (Mendelsohn) Segal and her husband Jason announce the arrival of their second child Justin Matthew on March 28, 2002. Big brother Joshua is 2 years old. The Segal family lives in Penn Valley.



Kristin (Hall) Braico and husband Domenick proudly announce the arrival of their first child, Katherine Elizabeth born March 27, 2002. The family lives in North Haledon, N.J. Danielle Boyle-Ebersole and husband Jason Ebersole ’96 are pleased to announce the arrival of their first child, Skyler Paige. She was born on Nov. 3, 2002, weighing 6 pounds, 5 ounces. Danielle is an attorney practicing creditors’ rights/bankruptcy law at Shapiro and Kriesman in King of Prussia, Pa., while Jason is the director of development information systems at The Hill School in Pottstown, Pa. The family makes its home in Schwenksville, Pa.

Vanessa Marie (Castoro) Vaag '94 with son Ryan Christian

Joseph and Kristin (Weidner) Allen announce the birth of their second daughter, Caroline Marie, who arrived Feb. 5, 2002. She joins big sister Elizabeth Joan, who is 3. Joseph teaches social studies for the Oley Valley School District in Oley, Pa. and Kristin is a mathematics teacher for the Wyomissing Area School District in Wyomissing, Pa. The Allen family resides in Wyomissing. Sean P. McCullough and his wife Julie welcomed the birth of their second daughter, Ashton Grace McCullough, on Sept. 2, 2002. Ashton joins big sister Haley, who is 2 1/2. Sean works for Morgan Stanley, having completed the firm’s wealth advisory program in August 2002. The family makes its home in Wyomissing, Pa. Diana (Renner) Moyer and her husband Doug “are blessed to add another daughter to their family” with the arrival of Kiersten, who was born July 8, 2002. She joins big brother Drew, age 3, and big sister Erin, 19 months. When she’s not busy with her three children, Diana works as a corporate trainer for Univest Corporation in Souderton, Pa. Doug is employed by Good Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. Julie (Hunt) Salvatierra and her husband Rich are pleased to announce the birth of their first child, Kathryn “Kate” Patricia Salvatierra, born on July 16, 2002 at the Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. Julie will be resigning as the employment manager at Julian LeCraw & Co., Inc. to become a stay-at-home mom. Vanessa Marie (Castoro) Vaag and her husband Joel Andrew proudly announce the birth of their son Ryan Christian. Ryan was born on Aug. 13, 2002 weighing in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces. Vanessa works as an actuary for Milliman USA in West Paterson N.J. The Vaag family resides in Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.



Noelle (Moore) Ioime and her husband Daniel celebrated the birth of their son Qunitin Williams Ioime on June 19, 2002. He weighed 6 pounds, 10 1/2 ounces and measured 21 inches. The proud parents are enjoying their new roles as Mom and Dad. Dan is a real estate attorney in Hamden, Conn., and Noelle is a stay-at-home mom. The family resides in Hamden.



Nicole (Dedes) and Farshid Nasseri are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Steven Alan Nasseri born May 6, 2002. Nicole reports that Steven is a very healthy baby who weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces and measured 19 1/2 inches at birth. The family makes its home in Rutherford, N.J.

Jordan Elizabeth Lieberman

Melanie (Strickland) Lieberman and her husband Doug proudly announce the birth of their first baby, Jordan Elizabeth Lieberman. Born Aug. 26, 2002, at 10:03 a.m., she weighed 9 pounds, 1 ounce and measured 22 inches. Melanie writes, “she is so adorable and has enriched our lives in ways we could never have imagined.” Nicole Goscilo and Jeremy Wentz are like an aunt and uncle to little Jordan and visit her every chance they get. Jordan was on campus for Homecoming and I think she may already have a little of the ’Berg spark in her eyes.”
