Here’s your chance to return to the classroom for a few hours without the stress of reading five chapters for homework or studying for an exam! This program is designed to offer a variety of cultural and intellectual opportunities for alumni. Our Alumni College features classes taught by Muhlenberg faculty and friends. Take advantage of this opportunity to enrich your mind and explore your spirit by enrolling in one or more of our featured classes for this year:

  • Fitness Class in the newly remodeled Life Sports Center
  • A Walk Down Memory Lane: The History of the College
  • Wine Tasting
  • Behind the Scenes of the Muhlenberg Theater
  • Campus Tours
  • Buffet Dinner
  • A Picture (or 350 Words) Are Worth A Hundred Bucks

The Alumni Association invites alumni entries in the first annual photo/essay contest. Entries should support this year’s Alumni College theme – “Americas the Beautiful.” Entries will be displayed and winners announced during Reunion Weekend, June 3-5, 2005. Share your artistic flair!

To be eligible to win, send your photo or essay no later than April 1, 2005, to:

Entries will be judged for their ability to embody the “Americas the Beautiful” theme.

One photo and one essay will be chosen to win $100 gift certificates to the ‘Berg Bookstore. Winning entries will be featured on the alumni website, in the summer 2005 Muhlenberg magazine, and displayed during Reunion 2005. The judging committee will consist of faculty, staff and members of the Alumni Association.

Please include your name, class year, address, phone number and e-mail address. Essays should be no longer than 350 words; photos should include a brief description (50-100 words) and JPEG images should be saved at 400dpi.

One entry per alumnus/a. Photos and essays will be returned upon request.
