We offer a unique, low cost housing alternative for currently enrolled college students (non-Muhlenberg students) while interning in the local Lehigh Valley area.

Summer Corporate Internship

Housing available at Robertson, South, The Village

Muhlenberg College

The housing offered at Robertson, South, The Village and 2201 Chew Street includes luxury, apartment-style living in a picturesque, wooded, park like setting. Each apartment is fully furnished and the kitchen is equipped with a full set of appliances. 

The kitchen in Robertson and South contains a refrigerator, microwave and sink. There are two large recreational rooms with full kitchens, a television and a second floor mezzanine area. 

Housing is offered at a rate of $25.00 per day. This entitles you to a private bedroom within an apartment-style suite. The remainder of the suite is shared space.
 
Note:  If occupants move-in or move-out on any other day than the 1st or last day of the month, monthly rate will be pro-rated based on the number of days within that month. All occupants must commit to a minimum of sixty consecutive days. Priority is given to those staying 5/26 - 8/5/2023.

Application Information:

Interested interns must complete an on-line application and follow the attached steps:

  • Complete the application. The applications are listed alphabetically. If you are working for a company which is not listed, please fill out the miscellaneous application but note the company name and hiring manager.
  • Once the application has been reviewed and accepted by the Director of Conferences and Events, a lease will be forwarded.
  • Sign lease and return within ten days. Once a signed lease has been countersigned, an invoice in the amount of $300.00 will be sent. This represents the security deposit. This security deposit will be refunded as long as your suite has been returned to its original condition AND all rent has been paid. Security Deposits are returned within 30 days of departure. If, however, you cancel your application within 60 days of arrival, the $300.00 is NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • Once all steps complete, the Director of Conferences and Events will send you a formal commitment of your housing.

 

Intern Housing Information:

All housing for Summer 2023 Interns will be located in one of the following dorms: Robertson, South, The Village. All dorms are non-smoking.

 

Assignment Information:

If there are fewer than 4 applications from an intern program, we reserve the right to house interns from different programs together. Suites may be co-ed, but only if all interns in the suite approve.

Roommate/Suitemate requests will be honored only if both request each other.

Extended Stay:

Muhlenberg Summer Intern housing is available May 26th, 12:00 pm until August 5th at 12:00 pm. For those needing housing before or after these dates may we suggest a local extended stay hotel:

 

2023 Check-In Information:

Check-in will only be available during scheduled office hours or pre-arranged check-in times. Check-in Available:

Friday, May 26th from 12pm – 6 pm
Saturday, May 27th from 10 am – 6 pm
Sunday, May 28th from 10 am – 6 pm
Memorial Day: May 29th CLOSED

*All interns must bring their College student id and a copy of their offer letter to check-in.
