Employer Tuition Deferment

If your employer offers tuition reimbursement benefits, you may defer payment until the end of the semester. Please refer to the Tuition Deferment Application Instructions and Tuition Deferment Form

Loan Options for Graduate Students

Federal Direct Unsubsidized (Apply using FAFSA)

  • Max Amount - $20,500 per year
  • Terms - 5.28%

Federal PLUS Loan (Apply using FAFSA)

  • Max Amount - Up to cost of attendance
  • Terms - 6.28% plus orig. fee

PA Forward (PHEAA)

  • Max Amount - Up to cost of attendance
  • Terms - 3.73 – 6.69% (No fees)
  • Four different repayment plans;
  • 10 and 15 year terms
  • .25% discount for direct debit

Private/Alternative Loans (Search online)

  • Max Amount - Up to cost of attendance
  • Terms - Variable

In addition to Direct Student Loan and Direct PLUS Loan options that are used by many families to cover a portion of college costs, here is information about other alternative loans which are offered at very attractive interest rates and with flexible repayment options The Muhlenberg College Monthly Payment Plan also helps many families manage their own cash flow in meeting educational costs.
