Local Jewish Resources

Muhlenberg College is located in the heart of the Jewish community of Allentown. All local Jewish resources are in the neighborhood of the college and all extend a warm welcome to Muhlenberg students. There are many opportunities for students to participate in services at area synagogues, intern at local institutions, teach at area Hebrew schools or just be adopted as a surrogate son or daughter by a local family. Below are some of our local resources:

All synagogues welcome students to all of their services and activities. Admission for the High Holidays is also free with tickets distributed by Hillel. Students are invited to contact synagogues directly for information on teaching and volunteer opportunities.
