Club Description: The Business and Economics Club is a student organization on campus whose goal is to engage students through various social and professional activities. The club provides its members with opportunities to network with business professionals, coordinate events, and other career building tools.  In addition to our strong relationship with the Career Center, our members hear are about internships and job openings for their future.

Past Events:

“Women Entrepreneurs Panel”: the President of Egg Electric Inc. spoke.  And the Founder of STEP in 4 Mor spoke.  They discussed their career paths, challenges they faced, and successes along the way.

“Social Media and Digital Marketing”: We had two employees from the company Tierney Communications speak.

“Entrepreneurship: Recognizing and Pursuing Business Opportunities”: Entrepreneur Darryl Caplan discussed how to spot business opportunities and make them happen

“LinkedIn Seminar”: Alana Albus from the career center showed the club members how to create a strong LinkedIn profile.
