Data Sources
Environmental Protection Agency - a national reference for GIS data, including a list of state geographic data depositories

USGS Real-Time Hydrologic Data - has river flow information for the entire United States

Bureau of Transportation Services - a national resource for transportation spatial data and GIS in transportaion (GIS-T) information

Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) - coordinates the development of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) which encompasses policies, standards, and procedures for sharing geographic data

GIS Data Depot - provides free GIS data downloads and creates custom GIS data CD-ROMs for CAD, mapping, and location based applications
