Program for Young Dancers
Classes for Children and Teens in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Creative Movement
Spring Session: Jan. 20 – May 5
The Muhlenberg Community Dance Center (MCDC) offers a safe and supportive environment through which students explore their creative and physical potential under the guidance of a fresh and qualified teaching staff. The curriculum is designed to carry a child from the earliest creative movement experience through pre-professional level work, with a focus on developing self-confidence and a life long appreciation for dance and other art forms.
Program for Adult Dancers
Classes for Adults in Ballet, Tap and Pilates
Adult Ballet: Adult Ballet classes are designed for dancers who wish to continue their dance education in a supportive studio environment. The instructor will adapt the curriculum to meet you at your own experience level. The focus of the classes is to help dancers maintain and improve their technique. If you enjoyed dance classes in your youth or your college years, Adult Ballet is the perfect opportunity. Instructor: Lisa Bottitta-Busfield.
Spring session: Jan. 29 – April 9
Adult Tap: Beginner through advanced classes give students technique and experience in a variety of tap choreography including Traditional, Broadway, Rhythm Tap and more. Instructor: Crystal Bartolacci.
Spring session: Feb. 1 – April 5
Pilates: The Pilates Center featuers the complete line of Pilates Equipment and props with four reformers, Cadillac, chair and barrel. Certified Pilates Instructors teach group mat and machine classes, along with private, semi-private, and combination classes that can be worked around your schedule. Instructor: Ellen Troy Mulcahy
