Tap Instructor Bio

Crystal Bartolacci is the owner/founder/director of Crystal’s School Of
Dance for over 26 years; a founding member of Tap Ties for 11
years since inception; a member of the Magnolia Sadies, a vintage
dance troupe since inception this year; and co-director of the new
TTApp Company, Tap Ties Apprentice Tap Company; as well as a
Zumba Instructor and Jammer.

Crystal attended the PA Governor's School for the Arts in dance on
a full scholarship. She graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers
University, received her teacher certification through Albright
College, and is a certified dance instructor through Dance Educators
of America. Crystal believes strongly that a good teacher never
stops being a student, and she is always continuing her own
education by attending various dance classes, seminars, workshops
and festivals throughout the country. Crystal has studied with such
notable master teachers as Desmond Richardson, Gus Giordano,
Mia Michaels, Andy Blankenbuehler, Dr. Henry LeTang, Dr. Jimmy
Slyde, Randy Skinner, Ayodele Casel, Michelle Dorrance, Germaine
Salsberg, Shelley Oliver, Karen Callaway Williams, Debbie Dee,
Fernando Bujones, Jason Samuels Smith, Chet Walker, Prince
Spencer, Robert L. Reed, Derick Grant, Danny Daniels, Shea
Sullivan, Mike Minery, Nicole Hockenberry, Charles Kelly, Jo Rowan
and many, many more.

Crystal has performed with, choreographed for, and taught for the
Tap Ties Company, Magnolia Sadies and T.A.P. Company, as well as
on her own in many locations from New York City to San Antonio,
Texas.

Crystal was an adjunct professor of dance at Penn State Schuylkill
Campus. She also choreographed Penn State's productions of
Little Shop of Horrors and The Wizard of Oz, as well as a variety
of high school and dinner theatre productions.

Crystal is so happy to be following her dance dreams and sharing
her passion for dance. She is very grateful to have the support of
her husband, Tom, and her children, Tyler, Kasey, Arianna and
Sophia and her grandson, Christian.
