Women's Soccer, Volleyball, Field Hockey Fall on the Road

Nicolette Miller The Muhlenberg women's soccer team lost to Richard Stockton, 2-1, in its first game at the Kean Classic.

After falling behind a little more than 15 minutes into the game, senior Nicolette Miller (right) knocked in a cross from freshman Krissy Fioretti to pull the Mules even, 1-1, in the 23rd minute. It was the 26th goal of Miller's career.

But the Ospreys scored less than 10 minutes into the second half and held on for the win.

The Muhlenberg volleyball team dropped a pair of matches on the final day of Marietta’s River City Classic.

The Mules fell in three sets to Methodist and the host Pioneers.

Sophomore Erica Wenzel finished with a team-high 20 digs in the two matches. For the second day in a row, senior Brooke McQueen led the Mules in kills with eight to go along with 15 digs in the two matches.

The Muhlenberg field hockey team fell at Elizabethtown, 5-0.

Senior Brittany DeAngelis moved into a tie for fourth place in school history when she recorded the 12th defensive save of her career less than two minutes into the game.
