Volleyball Falls; Women's Cross Country, Men's Soccer Still Ranked

Polls: Go figure: the team that was idle last week moved up, and the team that played and won moved down.

The women’s cross country team is ranked eighth in the Mideast Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The Mules were ninth in the preseason poll and had an impressive opening at Lehigh 11 days ago.

The men’s soccer team fell from No. 17 to No. 23 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll despite beating Moravian in its lone game last week. The 3-0 Mules continue to be ranked No. 3 in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
