Men's Golf Fifth at Mason-Dixon Classic

Chris DiMaio The Muhlenberg men’s golf team finished fifth out of 11 teams at the two-day Mason-Dixon Classic, hosted by McDaniel.

The Mules were in second, seven strokes behind McDaniel, after the first round but were passed by three teams on the second day.

Senior Brandon Davis tied for sixth with a 36-hole total of 154. He shot a 79 in the first round and improved by four strokes in the second. Davis made par on 13 of 18 holes in the second round and scored a birdie-4 on the longest hole on the course, the 558-yard No. 8.

Junior Chris DiMaio (right) also shot in the 70s in both rounds, tying for 12th with a 77-79--156. He was one of only two golfers in the tournament to birdie the 16th hole, shooting a 2 on the 206-yard hole in the second round.
