Antonini, Boll Honored by Centennial Conference

Katherine Boll Cody Antonini One of Muhlenberg’s oldest star athletes and one of its newest were named players of the week in their respective sports by the Centennial Conference.

For the second time this season and the fifth in his career, senior Cody Antonini was named men’s soccer offensive player of the week. Antonini (left) scored six points and had a hand in four of five goals in a pair of one-goal wins for the 7-3 Mules. He scored the first two goals of a 3-2 win at TCNJ and assisted on both goals in a 2-1 CC win against Washington.

The six points gave Antonini 20 points on the season and a career total of 98. He needs two more to become the sixth Mule and the 14th CC player to reach the century mark.

Freshman Katherine Boll was named player of the week in volleyball.

Boll (right) averaged 3.27 kills and hit .365 as Muhlenberg swept four straight matches for the first time since 2005, improving its record to 12-6. In two CC matches, she hit .419, recording 13 kills against Bryn Mawr and 10 vs. Washington.

For the season, Boll is second in the CC in hitting percentage (.322) and fifth in kills per set (3.20). She leads the Mules with 189 kills and is second with 33 blocks.
