Glass Named Player of the Week

Allison Glass Freshman Allison Glass of the Muhlenberg volleyball team was named player of the week by the Centennial Conference.

The outside hitter averaged 3.50 kills and 2.92 digs while hitting .323 in three matches for the Mules. She had double-doubles in two of the matches, narrowly missing a third with 12 digs and nine kills against Penn State Berks. Glass recorded a match-high 16 kills to go along with 11 digs and five service aces in a four-set CC win against Gettysburg – only the third win for Muhlenberg against the Bullets in program history.

For the season, Glass leads the Mules and ranks eighth in the CC in kills per set (3.09). Her season total of 235 kills is already the fourth-highest ever by a Muhlenberg freshman. Glass leads the CC with 42 aces and is third on the Mules with 162 digs.

The landmark win against Gettysburg put Muhlenberg (16-8, 6-1) into sole possesion of second place in the CC with three matches to play.
