Rheiner Receives All-America Honorable Mention

Doug Rheiner Doug Rheiner of the Muhlenberg men’s lacrosse team received honorable mention on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III All-America team.

The recently graduated midfielder was a first-team All-Centennial Conference selection after leading the Mules and ranking seventh in the CC with 31 goals, the second-highest single-season total in program history. He set a school record with eight hat tricks on the season and added 10 assists and 38 ground balls.

Rheiner finished his career sixth on Muhlenberg’s all-time list with 69 career goals. He also ranks eighth with 90 points.

Rheiner is the third player in program history to receive All-America recognition, following Kyle Farris (2008) and John DeLuca (2008 and 2009).
