Master Planning Process

March 2016 – January 2017

  • Build support for the strategic planning process
  • Gather data and assess the College campus and its facilities

February - May 2017

  • Meet with the Planning Advisory Committee to discuss the master planning process, existing issues and opportunities and next steps
  • Hold a campus planning event - faculty, staff and student leaders invited to participate in interactive planning process facilitated by WRT
  • Interview senior staff and faculty to discuss facilities, space and campus related opportunities
  • Meet with the Board of Trustees Real Estate Committee for feedback

June – July 2017

  • Develop program options and compile findings of the interview and space utilization study completed by the College
  • Meet with the Planning Advisory Committee to gather feedback
  • Develop initial alternatives for discussion at the senior staff retreat

August – October 2017

  • Hold a campus planning event - faculty, staff and students to participate in interactive planning process facilitated by WRT
  • Develop preferred alternative for the Master Plan and evaluate related projects included in the preferred alternative
  • Meet with the Planning Advisory Committee to gather feedback Develop Draft Master Plan

November – December 2017

  • Meet with the Board of Trustees Real Estate Committee for feedback
  • Meet with the Planning Advisory Committee to gather feedback
  • Draft Master Plan for review and approval to Board
