President Kathleen Harring was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of The Council of Independent Colleges (CIC). In this capacity, Harring will join 31 fellow higher education leaders on the board helping to shape the organization’s role and its future.
“It’s an honor to be named to the CIC Board of Directors and to join such an eminent group of leaders,” Harring says. “Independent, mission-focused higher education is needed now more than ever, and CIC’s work is critical. Our collaboration helps make colleges like ours do what we are called to do in the most effective way possible.”
CIC’s mission is to support higher education leaders and promote the importance of higher education to the public.
