Postgrad Scholarships, Fellowships, and Awards

Muhlenberg advises students who are interested in applying for opportunities that will enable them to realize their goals.

The Dean of Academic Life assists undergraduates and recent graduates as they reflect upon their education, values, and life goals and apply for nationally prestigious awards, fellowships, and scholarships. Muhlenberg students and alumni have earned hundreds of national and international awards, finalist statuses, and honorable mentions.

Recent Awards

The Fulbright is the flagship international exchange program sponsored by the United States and other countries. The award subsidizes one year’s teaching, study, or research abroad. The college has two students applying for the Fulbright in the 2026-2027 academic year.

  • Caya Greenspan-Layman ’22. Study Semi-finalist to the UK.
  • Madeleine Kimo, ’23. English Teaching Assistant Semi-finalist to Spain.
  • Keanna Peña ’25. Research Semi-finalist to Dominican Republic.  
  • Samantha White ’23. English Teaching Assistant Recipient to Mongolia.

This program supports students of limited financial means to study or intern abroad, providing them with skills critical to our national security and economic prosperity. The Gilman Program is a competitive, merit-based scholarship.

Knight-Hennessy Scholars is a multidisciplinary, multicultural graduate scholarship program. Each Knight-Hennessy scholar receives up to three years of financial support to pursue graduate studies at Stanford while engaging in experiences that prepare scholars to be visionary, courageous, and collaborative leaders who address complex challenges facing the world.

PiA fosters mutual appreciation and cross-cultural understanding between the United States and Asia through immersive fellowships in host organizations and communities in 14 countries and regions across Asia.

  • Abbey Robuck ‘24. Finalist to Taiwan.

The scholarship is a fully-funded postgraduate award which enables talented young people from around the world to study full-time at the University of Oxford.

  • Michael Albdewi ‘22. Finalist.

This program provides merit-based scholarships to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students pursuing STEM degrees funded by the Department of Defense.
