Muhlenberg College Grant

Muhlenberg College Grant

The Muhlenberg College Grant is a need-based grant offered to students who display exceptional financial need, continue to make satisfactory academic progress, and show promise in the areas of campus contributions and college citizenship. Students are required to complete the FAFSA annually to be eligible for the grant.

The Muhlenberg College Grant comes from institutional funds that are not guaranteed and have the potential to change from year to year based on a student’s Student Aid Index (SAI) as determined by the FAFSA.

  • The amount of Muhlenberg College Grant a recipient may receive is based on:
  • The student’s SAI as determined by the FAFSA
    Muhlenberg College’s cost of attendance
  • A student’s enrollment status as a full-time or part-time student
  • A student’s plans to attend school for a full academic year or less
  • The most common reasons a student’s SAI changes are:
A significant increase or decrease in family income
  • More or fewer family members living at home
  • A significant increase or decrease in parent(s) or student assets
