Research and Scholarship

My research interests have included a qualitative analysis of the school experiences of students with Asperger’s Syndrome and a critical analysis of education policy examining the current charter school movement. Additional research is in impact of standardized testing on student learning and teaching practices, the growing social movement in the corporate privatization of American education and equity and race issues in education. Future interests include church/state issues regarding school vouchers.
