Residential Education and Resident Advisors

At Muhlenberg, learning continues throughout the residential experience, led by our RAs, the backbone of our residential community on campus.

Our Distinctive Residential Experience

Muhlenberg’s college life curriculum is delivered in part through the residential experience. Because students are required to live on campus, residential communities are able to foster in all students a sense of belonging, an understanding of holistic well-being, a desire to develop personally and professionally, and an obligation to engage meaningfully with other students and contribute to the greater community.

Our Supportive Resident Advisors (RAs)

Arriving on campus as a new resident can be a whirlwind of an experience, and for many students it’s their first time living away from home. An RA can make all the difference.

We know our students learn best from their peers, and our RAs make a positive impact by leading with inclusivity and care for each of their residents. Through Muhlenberg’s residential curriculum, RAs build individual relationships with their residents through conversation, community events, and engagement. As student mentors, Muhlenberg RAs acquire leadership and problem-solving skills while experiencing the joy of building their student community.
