Muhlenberg field hockey player Erin DiSandro ’26 has been awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.
Each year, the NCAA awards up to 126 postgraduate scholarships to student-athletes who have completed their final year of athletics competition. The award is a one-time, nonrenewable scholarship intended to support graduate study at an accredited institution.
A pre-health biology major and public health minor, DiSandro was named Centennial Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year last fall and is a three-time member of the CC Academic Honor Roll. She conducted summer research in both 2024 and 2025.
DiSandro will be attending medical school at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia starting in August.
DiSandro is the 19th Muhlenberg athlete to earn an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, and the first since volleyball player Kelly Tornetta ’19.
