Applying for Need-Based Aid
To be considered for federal, state, and Muhlenberg need-based aid (including grants, work-study, and loans), students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Submitting the FAFSA is free and provides access to the largest source of college financial aid.
- Who uses it: Muhleberg, the federal government and PHEAA (for the PA State Grant) all use your FAFSA to determine aid eligibility.
- When to apply: The FAFSA must be submitted each year.
All students who receive a financial aid offer need to complete the Muhlenberg College Scholarship and Aid Application upon enrollment at the College.
