About Me
I’m a proud graduate of the University of Delaware’s Honors College, and I’m thrilled to now be part of the Muhlenberg College community. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, I’ve always had a strong connection to this area and am excited to help students discover all the wonderful things Muhlenberg has to offer. I come from a big sports-loving family and grew up playing lacrosse, water polo, swimming, and dancing. Fun fact: at my very first dance competition, Abby Lee Miller did, in fact, yell at me. An unforgettable introduction to the world of competitive dance!
Advice for Prospective Students: Enjoy the journey! The college search process can definitely feel overwhelming at times, but it’s also such a special and exciting chapter in your life. Take time to explore, ask questions, and connect with the people and places that feel right to you. Remember, we’re here to support you every step of the way, and many of us have been in your shoes. You’ve got this!
Favorite Food on Campus: Okay, it’s not technically food … but I’m a big coffee person! I’m especially excited to explore all the cozy, fun, and unique coffee spots Muhlenberg has to offer. Whether it’s a morning latte or an afternoon pick-me-up, a good cup of coffee makes any day better!

About Me
I am from Georgetown, Texas, but am excited to call the Lehigh Valley home now! Though I have worked in admissions at other types of institutions previously, my passion lies with small liberal arts schools. My favorite part of the job is connecting with students and helping them discover their path and best fit through the college search. In my free time, I love to cook, eat, explore, and read (send me your book recs!).
Advice for Prospective Students: Find a school and a town that is going to be a comfortable home for the next four years. Part of that is visiting campus before you make your final decision! You will learn so much more about a school just by going in person. Remember it is your journey to lead!
Favorite Food on Campus: Anything at the General’s Quarters is a hit! I love their buffalo chicken sandwich and their chicken strips!

Stacey Carpency (she/her/hers)
Associate Director of Admissions and Coordinator of Transfer Admissions | Contact for Pennsylvania (Lehigh Valley and Northeastern) and Connecticut | 484-664-3246 | staceycarpency@muhlenberg.edu
About Me
I’ve been a part of the Muhlenberg community since 2017. I am an Allentown native, and I love everything about the Lehigh Valley — the park systems, the entertainment, and the food! A few fun facts about me: I love to dance and I’m a dance teacher at a local dance studio, I’m a triplet, and my favorite color is purple (although Muhlenberg’s red comes in a close second).
Advice for Prospective Students: One piece of advice I like to give to prospective students is to enjoy this journey to college! While the college search process can feel stressful and daunting, it can also be a lot of fun! Visiting college campuses, speaking with faculty, and interacting with current students are all fun, immersive ways to learn about a college, so take advantage of those opportunities. And if you’re feeling stressed about the process or have any questions, know that we are here to help you!
Favorite Food on Campus: Muhlenberg’s food is top-notch (#1 in PA to be exact!), so it’s hard to pick a favorite dish! But, I’ll have to say that my favorite treat is a blondie from the Noshery. They are served warm, and they are the perfect dessert to share with a friend (or if you have a sweet tooth like me, you can enjoy one for yourself)!

About Me
I grew up about 30 minutes away from Muhlenberg so, in a way, my role here is a return home for me. I have been working in college admissions for almost 20 years and really appreciate the chance to help advise students and families through this process. My favorite experience in my career has been seeing students I met as they were applying walk across the stage at graduation four years later.
Advice for Prospective Students: I encourage you to make studying abroad a priority during your college experience. Colleges offer programs in many distinct ways, so knowing what is a fit for you can help you make the most of the opportunity once you enroll. More than 50% of Muhlenberg students study off campus, through traditional semester-long, immersive programs as well as shorter, more flexible programs during winter and summer breaks.
Favorite Food on Campus: My own college decision was made based on the quality of the grilled cheese sandwich, and I made sure to try the same thing at General’s Quarters during my interview. It did not disappoint, but I was also impressed by the friendliness of the staff and students, which I have encountered every time I grab something to eat. Everyone loves Muhlenberg, and meals here are a great opportunity to get to know people.

About Me
I grew up in Allentown and graduated from Muhlenberg in 2022. After that, I chose to continue my education at Muhlenberg and completed my graduate program here in 2024. I grew up playing basketball and continued all the way through college. I had a really great experience during my years as a Mule and am so excited to be able to share that experience with new students who are considering Muhlenberg as their home for the next four years!
Advice for Prospective Students: Don’t be afraid to ask as many questions as you’d like! We want you to be confident in your college choice and have all the information you need to make a decision. Once you’re here, get involved as much as you can on campus. There are so many opportunities to meet new people and have a lot of fun!
Favorite Food on Campus: My favorite meal in the dining hall has always been Pizza Rustica. You also can’t go wrong with an avocado grilled cheese or chicken finger meltdown from GQ!

About Me
I am a South Jersey native currently residing in Richmond, Virginia. I earned my Bachelor of Science in education from College of Charleston and my Master of Education in higher education from Northeastern University. I found my love for higher education during my time in college as an orientation leader. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, going to concerts, relaxing at the beach, spending time with friends and family, and of course, playing with my dog, Franklin.

You want to find the best fit for you and where you want to learn and grow throughout the next four years. Be sure to take advantage of everything college has to offer you.

After spending the first 18 years of my life growing up in Connecticut, I attended school at Valparaiso University in Indiana where I received my Bachelor of Arts in theatre. While there, I also found a love for admissions and higher education. Outside of work, my passions include theatre, travel, books, and (most importantly) theme parks. I’m excited to be based full-time in Orlando, Florida, and to show the southeast U.S. all the amazing things ’Berg has to offer!

About Me
I’m so excited to be back at Muhlenberg after earning my Bachelor of Arts in theatre in 2023. I’m a proud New Jersey native, but the Lehigh Valley has always felt like a second home. Having been a tour guide in undergrad, working in the office now is a full circle moment for me. Fun facts about me: I love performing and seeing live theatre, I have an identical twin, and I am a big cat person. My favorite part of this job is traveling all over my home state to share my enthusiasm for Muhlenberg and everything the college has to offer!
Advice for Prospective Students: When writing your college essay, remember to show who you really are. Share the experiences, values, and perspectives that make you unique, and trust that being yourself is what will set you apart.
Favorite Food on Campus: When the Wood Dining Commons has the baked potato bar, you’ll know where to find me.
