Celebrating 25 Years
This year marks an exciting milestone for the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion: 25 years of research, insight, and public engagement.
Since its founding, the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion has worked to measure and understand public opinion across Pennsylvania and the nation, providing trusted data that informs conversations about politics, policy, and civic life. We gather together tonight to celebrate this anniversary, reflect on the institute’s history and look ahead to the future of public opinion research.
Thank you for joining us as we commemorate 25 years of listening to the public and supporting informed civic dialogue.

25 Years of Data, Dialogue, and Democracy
Since 2001, the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion has conducted high-quality survey research that captures public attitudes on pressing political, social, and environmental issues. Its polling has examined topics ranging from statewide elections and voter behavior to climate change, public health, and trust in institutions.
MCIPO’s surveys are widely cited by national and regional media outlets and are valued for their methodological rigor and clarity in communicating complex data. The institute’s work helps translate public sentiment into meaningful insights for policymakers, journalists, and the broader public.
A central part of this work is the institute’s emphasis on student-driven research. Students are actively involved in polling operations, data analysis, and the communication of findings — gaining hands-on experience that bridges academic study with real-world application.
Meet the Leadership

His expertise has made him a widely sought-after voice in national and regional media, where he provides analysis on elections, polling trends, and shifting public attitudes. His leadership has been central to establishing MCIPO as a trusted source of data and insight.
