Applying to graduate school is a big decision — and we’re here to make the process clear, supportive, and accessible. Whether you’re preparing to advance in your field, pivot professionally, or deepen your expertise, our admissions team will guide you at every stage.

Every program is designed to fit your schedule, whether you’re a new graduate or a busy, working professional. Our review process considers academic readiness, career experience, and the strengths you bring to your graduate community.

Before starting your application, gather these materials:

Required Materials

  • Unofficial transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate coursework
  • Professional résumé or curriculum vitae (CV)

Optional Materials

  • Letters of recommendation
  • GRE/GMAT test scores (not required for any program)

Application Fee

There is no fee to apply to Muhlenberg’s graduate programs.

General Admission Criteria

Graduate admission considers the full scope of your academic and professional experience, including:

  • Previous academic performance
  • Relevant work experience
  • Leadership, service, or community engagement
  • Personal statement (if required by program)
  • Interview with the Dean or Graduate Program Advisor (if requested). Financial hardship should never prevent you from applying — our advisors can help you explore the best path forward.

Program-Specific Requirements

Each program has unique expectations to ensure student success. Explore these program-specific requirements below.

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Two years of professional experience preferred (not required)
  • Resume

  • Applied Analytics for Organizations Certificate: college-level statistics course (grade B or higher) within the past five years

  • Enrollment in Muhlenberg’s undergraduate teaching program
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Completed prerequisite coursework
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic skills (SAT or Praxis scores)
  • Satisfactory fieldwork portfolio
