Dual enrollment at Muhlenberg College gives high school students the opportunity to take college-level courses, build academic momentum, and get a head start on their future degree.

Currently, dual enrollment is available through select partner schools, including Parkland School District.

Now Enrolling for Fall 2026

The deadline to enroll in classes for the fall semester is August 1.

Who is Eligible?

Dual enrollment is available to students who:

  • Are a high school senior enrolled at a participating high school (currently Parkland School District)
  • Receive approval from their high school counselor
  • Demonstrate readiness for college-level coursework (based on GPA, class standing, and disciplinary record)

How Dual Enrollment Works

Students take approved Muhlenberg courses while enrolled in high school, earning credit that may count toward both their high school diploma and future college degree. Courses are selected in collaboration with the student’s high school counselor to ensure they meet high school requirements. 

Application Process

Following these steps will ensure a smooth application and registration experience.

Step 1: Prepare and Plan

  • Meet with your high school counselor to confirm eligibility and discuss how dual enrollment fits into your academic plan.
  • Review available course options and identify classes that align with your graduation requirements and future academic interests.

Step 2: Apply and Submit Documents

  • Complete the Dual Enrollment Form and select your high school
  • Submit the following required materials:
    • Enrollment form signed by your school district
    • Official high school transcript

Step 3: Receive Your Enrollment Decision and Access Workday

  • Once your application is reviewed, you will receive an email confirming your enrollment
  • You will be provided with login credentials and instructions to access Workday
  • Review your course schedule, including class times and dates

Step 4: Registration and Payment

  • Muhlenberg will enroll you in approved courses
  • Students are responsible for tuition, fees, and textbooks
  • Payment must be completed before the deadline to attend classes
  • Withdrawals before the end of the add/drop period will receive a full refund minus a $25 administrative fee

Dual enrollment courses are offered at a set tuition rate for participating students.

Tuition: $1,035 per course
