He has starred in eight instructional videos and DVDs, lectured to magicians' groups around the world, and his writings have been translated into many languages. Named "Close-Up Magician of the Year" in both 1998 and 1999, Burger has been profiled twice on CNN, was featured in an eleven-page cover story in the Chicago Reader, and has appeared on countless television shows.

The Theory and Art of Magic: Series II, a scholarly celebration of the magical arts, has captivated audiences, keeping in tradition with the highly successful 1999 series of performances. It is with much anticipation that Eugene Burger returns to Muhlenberg College for the second series. His highly acclaimed lectures and performances inaugurated the first series, leaving the audiences hungry for more. It is a pleasure to have him back as part of the program's week-long closing extravaganza.
