Students at The Wescoe School of Muhlenberg College have created a new human resource manual for the city of Easton, and will present the finished product to the city this Thursday, August 22, at 6 p.m. at the Easton campus, 101 Larry Holmes Drive, Suite 200. Easton Business Administrator Michael McFadden will accept the manual on behalf of the city.

The "Human Resource Advisory Partners" team of six students created the manual as their capstone project, the culmination of the accelerated degree completion program in Human Resource Management at The Wescoe School. The manual directs attention to areas of Human Resource Management such as wage administration, non-discrimination policies, sexual and other forms of harassment, and employee access to personal records policy.

"This capstone project is a great example of how adult students take their education and directly apply it," says Joe Kornfeind, assistant dean of The Wescoe School. "This project connects the efforts of students from Muhlenberg's Easton campus and the Easton community by recognizing a need and matching that need to the skills available from within the community."
