Ken Butler Named Executive Assistant To The President At 'Berg

Ken Butler has been named executive assistant to the president at Muhlenberg College. Butler will work directly with President Randy Helm and be part of the senior management team of the College.

Ken Butler has been named executive assistant to the president at Muhlenberg College. Butler will work directly with President Randy Helm and be part of the senior management team of the College.

For the past 10 years, Butler was administrative coordinator for the department of theatre and dance, and supervised box office and ticket operations. Butler served as musical director and conductor for 16 departmental productions, and provided orchestrations for the 1987 world premiere of the outdoor musical drama Eden on the River.

Butler is the son of Dorothy Butler, and the late Joseph Butler, of Henderson, Ky. A 1976 graduate of Henderson High School, Butler earned a bachelor of music degree from Union University in Jackson, Tenn.

Founded in 1848, Muhlenberg College is a private, Lutheran-affiliated, highly selective, liberal arts college in Allentown, Pa.
