Muhlenberg College has named Joseph Hardenberg textbook manager for the 'Berg Bookshop. Hardenberg will coordinate efforts to streamline the textbook ordering process, manage faculty-bookstore relations and maintain the "books in a box" program, which allows first-year students to pre-order their textbooks and pick up the assembled package. He will begin his duties October 23. Hardenberg, a resident of Fountain Hill, Pa., is the owner of Partnering Solutions, Ltd., a web design and consulting business. For 13 years, he was director of purchasing at Lehigh University, where he coordinated goods and services procurement for the university. He holds two associate's degrees from Northampton Community College, one in accounting and one in purchasing and materials management.
