The Institute for Jewish-Christian Understanding of Muhlenberg College presents its First Friday discussion for February, Friday, February 7, 11:45 a.m-1 p.m., in Seegers Union 108-110. The topic will be “A Nation of Immigrants: Should the Door Remain Open?” presented by criminal defense attorney David Vaida, president of the board of Casa Guadelupe.

The program is free and registration is not required. Participants may bring their own lunch or buy it in Seegers Union; drinks will be available for purchase in the room. The Institute for Jewish-Christian Understanding seeks to build an understanding of both the common roots and the diverse expressions of Judaism and Christianity, creating connections between Jews and Christians.
