Muhlenberg College is proud to announce that ten members of the Class of 2003 have been elected to Phi Beta Kappa, a distinguished fellowship of scholars devoted to liberal education and intellectual pursuits. Morgan Arnold, Diana Bharucha, Kristin Geisser, Ted Gerstenblith, Amanda Greiss, Kelly Howe, Sarah Kersh, Shannon Lambert-Ryan, Rebecca Lombel and Kimberly Richards will be inducted at a ceremony on Sunday, January 26, 2 p.m., in Seegers 108.

Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest and most prestigious undergraduate honors organization, was founded on December 5, 1776, at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va. The Muhlenberg chapter was granted a charter by the national honor society in 1967. Based on national standards, election to Phi Beta Kappa represents the most outstanding achievement in the arts and sciences. Chapters are active at only 262 colleges and universities nationwide. Each year, seniors are elected to Phi Beta Kappa in the fall and spring.

Founded in 1848, Muhlenberg College is a highly selective liberal arts college in Allentown, Pa. There are 500 members of the Class of 2003.
