Curated by the members of the art department faculty along with this year’s graduating seniors, the annual exhibition will run May 1-May 15 in the Martin Art Gallery, Baker Center for the Arts. Gallery hours are Wednesday-Saturday, 12 noon-9 p.m. Admission is free. The public is cordially invited to an opening reception, Wednesday, April 30, 4-7 p.m., in the Gallery. It aims to provide students with a fundamental understanding of art and the history of art in a cultural context, to introduce them to the rudiments of visual language, to develop and strengthen their technical skills, and to acquaint them with the challenges facing artists in contemporary society.
