'Berg Faculty, President To Give Presentation At Trexler Middle School

Muhlenberg College President Randy Helm and members of the College faculty will participate in an interactive learning day for sixth-grade students at Trexler Middle School in Allentown.

Muhlenberg College President Randy Helm and members of the College faculty will participate in an interactive learning day for sixth-grade students at Trexler Middle School in Allentown, Friday, February 27, 8:45-10:45 a.m. and 1:15-2:35 p.m. Helm's presentation on Greek history, complete with a suit of Greek armor, will be at 10 a.m.

Muhlenberg faculty and staff members participating in the day of math, science, literature, music, drama and art activities will include Pearl Rosenberg (education), Cathy Kim (education), Chris Kovats-Bernat (anthropology), Patty Carlis (theatre), Julia Hardy (religion), Penny Dunham (mathematical sciences), Michael Clark (history), Ethel Drayton-Craig (multicultural life) and Mohsin Hashim (political science).
Muhlenberg seniors Krystle Marcis, Megan MacMahon and Heather Vant Hoogt, all student teachers at Trexler Middle School, are coordinating the interactive learning day as part of their cooperative teaching experience.
