He is frequently consulted by newspapers, magazines and radio shows for commentary on magic.

Hass has gained national recognition among professional magicians. As a specialist in presentation and stagecraft, he was invited to teach an extended course on performance to magicians in Philadelphia. In 2003 he served as a faculty member at Jeff McBride's famous "Mystery School" in Las Vegas where he led discussion groups and delivered a keynote address.

Hass's award-winning, inspirational essays on magic performance and theory have been published in leading magazines for professional magicians. He is currently completing a book for magicians, “Transformations: Creating Magic Out of Tricks,” that articulates his theories of presentation in relation to pieces from his performing repertoire.
