Muhlenberg College announces the hire of Philip T. Ellmore as the College’s director of leadership gifts. He will begin his duties September 13, 2004.
Ellmore joins Muhlenberg from North Carolina Wesleyan College, where he was the vice president of development. He has previously worked as senior director of institutional advancement for Good Shepherd, assistant director of estate planned giving for Lafayette College and director of annual giving for Kutztown University. Ellmore was also an associate pastor at the First Baptist Church in Bethlehem.
A graduate of Alderson-Broaddus College, Ellmore received a M.Div. from Eastern Baptist Theological Center and a Ph.D. in leadership studies and organizational behavior from The Union Institute and University.
