Singer/songwriter Gavin DeGraw will perform at Memorial Hall, Muhlenberg College on Sunday April 10, 2005. General seating tickets are $15, available through 800-594-TIXX(8499) or www.muhlenberg.tickets.musictoday.com. Special guests Jem and Michael Tolcher will also perform.

DeGraw’s acclaimed debut album, “Chariot,” has gone platinum, and his song “I Don’t Want to Be,” the theme for the WB’s drama One Tree Hill, has hit number one on the charts.

DeGraw grew up playing piano as a child and later joined a cover band with his older brother in upstate New York. After a brief stint at the prestigious Berklee School of Music, DeGraw left for New York City to try his luck as a performer. After generating much positive buzz, he was signed to J Records, and “Chariot” dropped in the summer of 2003.

In recent years, Muhlenberg’s Memorial Hall has hosted other standout musical acts, including Blues Traveler, Counting Crows, Live, Smashmouth, Jason Mraz and O.A.R.
