Muhlenberg College Dancers Recognized At Mid-Atlantic Dance Conference

Muhlenberg College Dancers participated in the Mid-Atlantic Conference of the American College Dance Festival at Virginia Commonwealth University on March 15-19, 2005.

Muhlenberg College Dancers participated in the Mid-Atlantic Conference of the American College Dance Festival at Virginia Commonwealth University on March 15-19, 2005. A panel of nationally known artists adjudicated 50 works via blind review and selected the best works for presentation on the closing gala concert. Selection criteria for this prestigious gala are outstanding performance and choreography.

Adjudicators bestowed great honor on the Muhlenberg dance program by choosing “Singing from the Underspace,” a piece choreographed by Assistant Professor Charles O. Anderson, as the closing work for the concert. This is the fourth consecutive year adjudicators have chosen Muhlenberg College Dancers for the Gala Concert. Muhlenberg student dancers were: Erin Cairns ‘06, Suzanne Chi ’05, Frank Grande Marchione ’05, Lisa Marten ’05, Kerin Nadler ’05, Adam Reich ’06, Chris Shepard ’07, and Jessica Warchal ’05.
