‘Berg’s Career Center Announces New Appointments

Muhlenberg College is pleased to announce the appointment of Cailin Pachter as director of the Career Center and Laura Garland as the Center’s assistant director.

Pachter, who was selected in a national search, came to Muhlenberg as a career counselor in 1999 and has most recently served as associate director and interim director. She has a B.A. in biology from Lehigh University, an M.A. in community counseling from Eastern Kentucky University and national certification in career counseling. She is currently pursuing a certificate in English at Muhlenberg.  

Garland was previously a career counselor at the Center. She graduated from Muhlenberg with a major in economics and a minor in Spanish. She earned a Master's of Education in counselor education from Clemson University. Before coming to Muhlenberg in 2007, she worked in Washington, D.C., as a legislative correspondent for U.S. Representative Todd R. Platts.
