'Berg Welcomes Lesbian Writer Radclyffe for Public Book Reading

Muhlenberg College will host award-winning author Radclyffe for a reading on September 24, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. in the Trexler Library’s Periodicals Reading Room (Level A).

This event is free and open to the public.  Refreshments will be served. Radclyffe will read from her latest book, Secrets in the Stone.  Signed copies will be available for purchase at the event. Radclyffe is a retired surgeon and full time author-publisher and the winner of two Lammy awards. She has over 30 lesbian novels and anthologies in print, including the Lambda Literary Award winners Erotic Interludes 2: ed. with Stacia Seaman, and the romance, Distant Shores, Silent Thunder, as well as the Lambda Literary Award Mystery Finalist, Justice Served and Romance Finalists, Turn Back Time and When Dreams Tremble. Her work includes romance, erotica, intrigue and suspense.
She is the editor of the anthology, Best Lesbian Romance 2009, forthcoming from Cleis Press. She is also the recipient of the 2003 and 2004 Alice B. Readers' award for her body of work and the president of Bold Strokes Books, one of the world’s largest independent LGBTQ publishing companies.
Radclyffe’s appearance is co-sponsored by the College’s LGBT Campus Coordinator and the Trexler Library.
