Ingersoll Receives Hoffman Fellowship for Research at Muhlenberg

Christine Ingersoll, Ph.D., associate professor of chemistry at Muhlenberg College, has been awarded the Donald B. Hoffman Research Fellowship for the academic year 2009-10.

Ingersoll, who holds a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a B.S. in chemistry from the State University of New York at Oswego, has taught at Muhlenberg since 1998. 
The purpose of the Hoffman fellowship is to encourage faculty members to engage in scholarship, research or creative activity that results in publication, performance or exhibition while enhancing the reputation of the College.  The faculty member awarded the fellowship receives a two course reduced teaching load both semesters of one academic year.  For
