Muhlenberg College Celebrates National French Week

Muhlenberg College will celebrate National French Week from November 4 – 10. The events are not limited to French students; all members of the campus community are welcome to attend.

Organized by the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF), National French Week is an annual celebration of French language and francophone cultures.

The purpose of National French Week is to increase the community's understanding and appreciation of the francophone world by finding interesting and entertaining ways of looking at how French touches our lives as well as learning about the dozens of countries and millions of people who speak this language.

Schedule of events:

• Thursday, Nov. 5
Lunch and dinner with French and Francophone themed meals in the Garden Room
Come enjoy tasty treats from French and Francophone regions

Friday, Nov. 6, 4:00-5:30
Art on the lawn in bleu, blanc, rouge
Share your artistic talents by helping create a huge painting on the lawn in front of Seegers

• Monday, Nov. 9, 12 -1
French/Francophone music on WMUH
Tune in to 91.7 FM during your lunch hour

Crêpe sales in Seegers Union
Enjoy a fresh crêpe made by members of the French Club - only $2 each and you can add your own toppings! (proceeds benefit the Muhlenberg French Club)
