Muhlenberg College's "Dress Upon A Star" Benefits Area Teens
the fifth consecutive year, Muhlenberg College students participated in Dress Upon A Star, an initiative where members of the College community donate new or gently used formalwear to local young women.Thursday, April 2, 2009 11:22 AM
On April 3, there will be a Prom Fair from 3:30-6:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria Annex of William Allen High School. The Fair will supply Allen girls, grades 11 and 12, with new and gently used prom dresses, shoes and accessories for free. ‘Berg sophomore Stacie Graff organized the event.
The fair will feature approximately 500 dresses, most of which are brand new. The goal of Dress Upon A Star is to make sure that every girl feels like Cinderella on prom night. Thanks to the Prom Fair, each Allen girl can get one step closer to that fairytale.
