Pianist Peter Orth to Give Concert at Muhlenberg

Peter Orth, celebrated pianist, will perform at Muhlenberg College’s Paul C. Empie Theatre, Friday, November 6 at 8 p.m. The concert is the second in the College’s Piano Series.

Orth catapulted into the American musical mainstream with a highly acclaimed recital debut in Alice Tully Hall.  He was awarded the Shura Cherkassky Prize by the 92nd Street Y in New York and the Fanny Peabody Mason Award in Boston.  Orth is a major talent.  His program includes selections by Haydn, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Chopin and Prokofiev.

Tickets are $20 General Admission, $15 seniors (65+) and Muhlenberg faculty & staff, $10 students(7+).  Free to Muhlenberg College students with I.D.
