Election Night Party at ‘Berg

Muhlenberg College’s department of political science will host an Election Night Party on Tuesday, November 6 from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Sandella’s in Seegers Union.

 Monday, November 5, 2012 09:58 AM

Join the Muhlenberg community for an evening of pizza, live news coverage and election returns as the nation elects its next president. This event, part of the series “Democracy and the 2012 Election,” is free and open to the public.  It is co-sponsored by the Dean of Students office and Student Activities.

The series “Democracy and the 2012 Election” is the fifth nonpartisan election series coordinated by Muhlenberg’s department of political science since 1992. The goal of the series is to offer the Muhlenberg and wider community an opportunity to examine critical issues linked to the 2012 presidential election. The series is co-sponsored and supported by a number of other departments on campus.

Founded in 1848, Muhlenberg College is a highly selective, private liberal arts college affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  The Muhlenberg experience is characterized by a deep sense of community and connection, intense student-faculty relationships and collaboration; small classes; passionate teaching and active learning; and powerful outcomes in terms of graduate school and entry-level career placement.
