Jorge Silveyra Awarded Ruth and Joel Spira Prize for Distinguished Teaching

The award was presented at Muhlenberg's 2022 Honors Convocation.

This award was established by Joel and Ruth Spira to recognize and inspire excellence in teaching within and beyond the confines of the traditional classroom by supporting superior performance in undergraduate research instruction.

This year's recipient was Jorge Silveyra, Assistant Professor of Computer Science.

The Muhlenberg College Honors Convocation, which was held this year at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 1 in Egner Chapel, is a formal academic ceremony designed to honor and celebrate leadership and scholarly excellence and achievement.
